| Chan mergers sound nice and all but a lot of work goes into that. Not to mention people are quite selfish that includes the person who may want the merger, example who would host between the two? little details like that where people can be a little picky about. |
| @6870 I totally agree, if someone wasn't picky about a chan being THEIRS then why start one? (referring to these generic ones) But on the other hand I have seen these mergers work where several chans combine their boards or heavily integrate with each other, and it always turns out good :) |

| Instead of condensing the fail and cancer with mergers, how about we just leave it to simple natural selection like usual and see who is worthy of surviving? If you can't handle CP, DDoS, spam, server problems, complaints, finding a good host, having the resources to maintain an imageboard and still get traffic and original content then you have no business running a *chan. Go do a non-chan imageboard or just give up and stop clogging the pipes. |
